Practical, workshop based courses prove popular each year and many students have learnt skills and methods from our expert tutors that they have carried into their working and home lives.

Popular subjects such as plumbing and DIY home improvements, enable you to learn the basics of DIY and undertake simple projects at home. Specialist stringed instrument and guitar making courses, along with woodworking with hand tools and power tools courses are also available, aiming to build confidence in dealing with both simple and complex craft tasks.

Expert tutors provide advice and guidance on individual projects and they will introduce you to planning your activities safely and increase your awareness of the requirements, when aiming for a professional style of finish in your chosen projects.

Our new workshop at the main Sutton centre provides the ideal setting to learn, practice and make use of specialist equipment.

With new courses starting throughout the year, we have the facilities and professional expertise to help you realise your potential to make extraordinary things.
