Computing and Digital Design

Computing Courses at Sutton College

The Computing and Digital Design department at Sutton College offers a diverse range of courses for many different ability levels.  We have courses to support total beginners with their first steps using computers and the internet, for those who are job-seeking and also to develop professional skills.

There is a great choice when it comes to accessing the courses – choose from shorter or longer courses, one day training, Flexible or Online Learning and One to One and Small Group Tuition. We develop bespoke courses in response to requests from public and private sector, business, community groups and individuals. This is something with which we have a successful track record and are very proud of.

The team of tutors in our department are fully qualified and very experienced. They are highly skilled at supporting, engaging and building confidence for a diverse range of learners to achieve their very best. They also have extensive experience working as professionals using computers in the workplace as well as Graphic Design. We see learners and organisations often returning to progress their skills further.

We have an excellent range of facilities both hardware and software. We run mainly Windows PCs and with a wide range of software available to our learners including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. We have Windows and Apple laptops, iPads and tablets.

We also offer supported and open learning computer hardware / software facilities through our iClick Centre, both to support coursework as well as being a great base for our range of flexible, online and One to One courses. There are good quality printing and photocopying self service facilities. We are a registered UK Online centre.
