,In a safe and supportive environment, learn how to prepare your work-in-progress or finished piece of writing for publication and / or performance. The course includes options to get feedback on your writing.
,What will I learn on this course?
,The purpose of this course is to offer the opportunity for students, through guided activities and workshops, to learn creative writing techniques and processes in a safe, encouraging environment. In this course, you will be able to play and try out new creative writing challenges, as well as learn more about editing, sharing and publishing your work. The course is appropriate for absolute beginners through to published writers. It will provide a safe atmosphere to learn, with an understanding that the act of creative writing can improve mental wellbeing.
,The course is made up of a series of themed sessions, featuring stimulating activities on various methods and techniques, to produce new writing. Additionally, it includes workshop sessions where students are able to get more in-depth feedback on longer pieces of writing.
,Poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction and drama will all be included. The course content and themes will develop in response to students’ interests.

,This is an all abilities class for adults. Both beginners and experienced writers are welcome.
