We have included as much information as possible about the course on the ‘Course Details’ section. Learners are expected to read the course detail forms prior to enrolment.

Many courses do not require specialist advice before enrolling online. However should you wish to discuss your choice of course or any other aspects of the course please contact us. Some courses may require attendance at a Course Approval session prior to enrolment, details of which can be found in the relevant course details.

Further information, advice and induction to the course normally takes place at the first session of your course and therefore it is especially important to attend. If you have any concerns once your course has started, please discuss with your tutor as soon as possible.

Please note: –

The College reserves the right to refuse admission or to refer learners to more appropriate classes, on academic grounds, if necessary.

Sutton College also reserves the right to cancel, combine or re-schedule courses or to make changes to course details advertised including cost, location, content and tutor. Courses must be viable in order to run and may be cancelled or shortened by the College if minimum numbers are not met. The College will offer to transfer learners to an appropriate alternative if a course is cancelled. Early enrolment is advisable to ensure that the course of your choice runs.

Learners enrolling on Government funded courses must attend a minimum of 90% or may be withdrawn. Learners must also have the intention of taking the exam/assessment prescribed to their course. We reserve the right to request payment of any amount not covered by funding when you withdraw from a course and/or fail to take exams or submit assessments.

By enrolling on a course you are also agreeing to abide by the policies and procedures of the College including but not limited to safeguarding and the Prevent duty.

Changes may need to be made to this course if Government Covid-19 guidance results in restrictions being placed on the College, for example an on-site course could be moved online. If it is not possible to move a class online, refunds may be issued in line with College policy. We will inform students as soon as practicable should any changes to a course be required.
