Wallington Centre – Update from Dipa

Sutton College will no longer be operating out of Wallington Town Hall from the start of the academic year 2022/23 (September 2022).  This does not mean that courses which were at Wallington will cease to run. All the existing courses have been planned and accommodated at our Sutton site, with the exception of the cookery classes for Supported Learning as the Sutton site does not have a teaching kitchen at the moment.

I appreciate that attending classes at Sutton instead of Wallington may cause disruption to some routines, but I can assure you that the quality of the provision will not be affected at all.  We will still have the same tutors and the same quality provision that you have all enjoyed at the Wallington site.  We do not take the move out of Wallington lightly, however, it was essential to combat the impact of COVID on our provision and fee income.

To our existing learners at Wallington, if you have never been to our Sutton site, please speak to your tutor and we will be very happy to arrange a site visit ahead of your new course starting in September 2022.  I look forward to seeing you at our Sutton site.
