General Information

Are you planning to visit Italy for a holiday? Perhaps your employment brings you into contact with Italian speakers or maybe you would like to communicate with friends or family who speak the language? On this course, you will learn some of the essential basics of the Italian language to build your knowledge and confidence. The course is ideal for those who have no current knowledge of Italian.

What will I learn on this course?

On this course you will learn, at a very basic level, to read, write, speak and listen in Italian, for professional reasons and/or personal enjoyment.

On completion of this course, you will be able to do the following in Italian-

Engage in basic introductions

Provide basic information

Express numbers

Express colours

Provide basic descriptions

Make basic requests in shops or restaurants

Ask for directions

Do I need any skills for this course?

This course is a basic Italian course. You do not need previous experience in Italian. The course is suitable for complete beginners.
