General Information

Do you want to improve your chances of finding a job, either voluntary or in the paid-sector? This course will help you to look for and apply for jobs. The course will help you to find techniques and strategies to search for jobs and perform confidently in interviews.

What will I learn on this course?

You will learn the following on the course.

Understanding mindset and how it can improve employability

Job application skills

Interview skills

Writing a CV

Please note, this is an accredited course and all learners will be required to produce a portfolio of work throughout the duration of the course. Non-completion of class and homework could lead to you being withdrawn from the course. Those who do complete the course to a satisfactory standard will receive an NCFE Cache Certificate.

What level is this course & what skills do I need?

This course is Level 1.

1: You will need to have appropriate levels of English skills in order to produce assignments necessary for this course. 

You must have achieved an English Language Entry 3 Level qualification or above. You will be asked to provide your certificates during the Course Approval Assessment.

You will also be asked to do an online English Language test for the Course Approval Assessment to assess that you have the appropriate level of English in order to be accepted onto the course.

How do I enrol?

To be considered for a place on this course, you are required to complete an online course Assessment to ensure this course is suitable for you. 

You can make an application by clicking on ‘APPLY’ at the bottom of this page. If you do not already have a Sutton College online account you will need to create one first. On completion of your application you will receive further information via email.
