Ikebana is the centuries-old Japanese art of arranging flowers. This practice, roughly translates to “making flowers come alive,” uses specially selected blossoms, foliage and other flora to convey a specific feeling or emotion, similar to a painting or sculpture.

Extend your floral design experience and come and join us in this workshop where less is more, design skills will be the focus and you will leave with something special.

What will I learn on this course?

You will gain an understanding of the principles of Ikebana, know how to choose the right containers and plant materials, learn how to use the elements and principles of design in this less know discipline of floristry.
