Another opportunity to explore and discover how to live a healthy lifestyle! This course will enable you to recognise how to live an active and healthy life. Through a range of keep fit activities, research and discussions, you will develop your own programme to exhibit and take home with you!

Purpose of Course

This course builds on what you have been introduced to in the Autumn term, in regards to keeping fit and healthy living. You will learn about the importance of engaging in a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise and be able to identify the skills needed to look after your physical and mental health through a varied range of activities.

On this course, you will develop the following life skills

English Skills

Maths Skills

Social and mental wellbeing

Confidence building

What level is this course & what skills do I need?

This course is aimed at those progressing from the Autumn course, and those who might have limited movement. Those with some previous experience are also encouraged to join.

Is a course approval interview/assessment required?

Yes

To be considered for a place on this course, you are required to attend a Course Approval session to ensure this course is suitable for you. You may be asked to complete a test/tests.
