Singing for Wellbeing - Enrichment - Summer (LLDD)

Course Information

This course gives you the opportunity to work towards a group singing performance at the college’s end of year show, with a guest appearance by you! You will be able to demonstrate all your new songs and singing skills to an invited audience that will include your friends and family.

Our third course aims to develop your singing and confidence, giving you an opportunity to demonstrate others your newly developed confidence. 

Purpose of Course 

You will continue to learn how to develop your enjoyment of singing through a range of musical styles, gentle movement, breathing, co-ordination and learning short vocal exercises to increase memory capacity and confidence.

On this course, you will develop the following life skills: 

Mental Wellbeing

Social Wellbeing

Confidence building

Vocal and musical tools

English skills

What level is this course & what skills do I need?

This is an all abilities class for adults who wish to develop personal wellbeing through singing. You should have completed the autumn and / or Spring course before joining. However, you may also be able to join if you can demonstrate previous experience. 

Is a course approval interview/assessment required?

Yes.

To be considered for a place on this course, you are required to attend a course approval session along with your parent/carer to ensure this course is suitable for you. You may be asked to complete a test/tests.
