General Information

You will learn how to improve painting and drawing skills in order to develop a more individual style of painting. Try out a range of techniques with an emphasis on developing new skills to unlock your creativity. Suitable for beginners who are curious about art and those with experience who want to develop further.

What will I learn on this course?

You will learn how to apply oil paint over acrylic grounds, construct space, mix colour, construct compositions and improve design skills. You will gain confidence in your own creative style and expression. You will be introduced to new ways of seeing, thinking and working and you will be encouraged to develop your own individual styles and methods.

This course is designed to try to improve the mental wellbeing of attendees and offers a creative space within which students can develop their art skills

Do I need any skills for this course?

This is an all abilities class for adults who wish to develop mental wellbeing. Beginners are welcome.
