General Information

Get creative as a family group in our well-appointed, specialist pottery studio.

Family Learning courses are designed to provide parents, grandparents, carers and their children an opportunity to learn together.

What will I learn on this course?

You and your child/ren will learn basic pottery techniques to make your design and be able to create finished pieces of work in a supportive family network. 

You can become more active in support of your child/ren’s learning and development. 

The course will also cover health and safety issues

Please note that you will not be able to take finished items away on the day as they

will need to be fired. You will be informed during the class when you will be able to

collect your finished work.

Physical Wellbeing

Do I need any skills for this course?

This course is suitable for parents/ grandparents and carers with a child or children aged 7+ years. 

No more than two children per adult.

Additional information

Clay and glazes can be messy so please wear old clothes or bring an apron.
