Art & Craft Student Exhibition
This week is shaping up to be a busy one for Sutton College. Our new programme launched on Monday with courses from September being available for enrolment and we also had a preview evening for the wonderful Art & Craft exhibition taking place in the library.
The Art & Craft Exhibition, running until Thursday 22nd June in Sutton Library, features work from drawing and painting classes, calligraphy, fashion & textiles pottery and ceramics as well as beautiful jewellery pieces and floral arrangements.
The preview evening was attended by the new Mayor of Sutton, Cllr Colin Stears, leader of the Council Ruth Dombey as well as staff, students and members of the public. Visitors browsed the many pieces on display and many were inspired to join a class coming up in the Autumn term.
Courses at Sutton College from September include new qualifications, hobbies and skills courses with one day workshops and year long courses available for adults of all ages.
