Sutton Council has been awarded a grant from the Government’s Future High Streets Fund to deliver various projects that will bring buildings back to life and diversify the offer on Sutton High St.
One of those projects is creating a new home for Sutton College in the historic white building opposite ASDA on the High street in 2026. This will be an exciting move for all and we can’t wait to watch it develop. The building’s position on the High Street will ensure that the College is a visible, valued and well utilised service of the Council and continues to be an essential service for local residents.
The Leader of the Council Ruth Dombey shared information about the rejuvenation of the High street including plans for the St Nicholas Centre too which can be read on the Sutton Council website.
The College, together with the Council, is looking to shape the offer in the new location and as such, are asking for feedback on the types of courses and format that could potentially be offered.
If you are able to take a few minutes of your time to complete a quick questionnaire below it would be greatly appreciated and it could influence future programme decisions.
