Open Event Provides Entertainment & Information to Visitors

Sutton College hosted an Open Event on Saturday morning and visitors came along to try Free acitivities, find out more about courses and enrol for Autumn Term classes

Our Head of Floristry was on hand to demonstrate creating buttonholes and our Calligraphy tutor gave everyone the opportunity to try out the art of calligraphy. Many visitors tried Printmaking under the expert guidance of our tutor Simon and left happy with a print of their own making in hand.

Arts and crafts were available for children with many making beautiful keepsakes in clay and our Flamenco tutor brought flair to the event as usual and went into the high street too!

The event was well attended with many taking the opportunity to ask questions to College team members and tutors – discovering how they can study qualfications for free or pick up a brand new skill.
