Sutton College GCSE Students Achieve Fantastic Results.
Sutton College GCSE students celebrated fantastic results once again this year.
Adult learners on various GCSE subjects including English, Maths, History and Psychology received their grades a couple of weeks ago and overall the results were impressive with most receiving high grades (grades 9 -4).
In English GCSE, 60% achieved high grades 9-4, in Maths 51.9%, Psychology 50% and in History a fantastic 83.3% received high grades with two learners achieved the top grade 9, one a grade 8 and one a grade 7.
College Principal Kevin Standish said: ‘The College is extremely proud of the hard work and achievement of our students, recognising that returning to learning for some is harder than others and that a lot of dedication is needed to achieve these high grades. Well done to everyone that achieved these grades but also to any of our learners that enrol on a course as an adult. Whatever their goals, a qualification, to improve work prospects or to try something new’.
