Sutton College tutors exhibiting as part of Carshalton Artists Open Studios this weekend

CAOS this Weekend!

Sutton College is proud to have our tutors exhibiting as part of the Carshalton Artists Open Studios (CAOS) again this weekend.

The 2017 Carshalton Artists Open Studios involves talented local artists exhibiting their work in studios and houses within short walking distances of each other. It brings together a talented community of professional creatives and businesses, celebrating the rich diversity of artistic expression in Carshalton.

There are artists working in ceramics, glass, drawing, painting, print, photography and sculpture; all of whom are widely collected and exhibited nationally and locally.

A selection of the work of the very talented tutors we have at the College is shown below.

Michael Collins:

Michael’s work is on display in his Oaks Park Studio. His piece ‘Study for Birling Gap’ is currently being displayed in The Mall Galleries and he recently won the Jacksons art materials art prize – £300 worth of art materials.

Claire Chandler:

Claire’s work is on display in her studio in her home. 50% of all proceeds of work sold are being donated to MNDA – Motor Neurone Disease Association. Her work is a colourful, abstract expression, inspired by some amazing places she has travelled to.

Marie Ratnam:

Marie’s work is being displayed along with Claire’s. Marie’s stand is colourful, bright and varied and shows a range of techniques.

Simon Burder:

Simon’s work is on display in his Oaks Park Studio. His lithographic work is delicate and considered and the studio is a beautiful space.

The College is extremely proud to see the work of so many of our tutors, as well as many others and to experience their studio spaces.

The CAOS Art trails are open this weekend 1^st & 2^nd of July.
